The star
filter can transform lights into spectacular pointed star-like
entities. The thin horizontal and vertical lines etched into
the glass diffract light into long points. The effect is only
noticeable on light sources or strong reflections. Large
intense light sources generate a pronounced star-like
appearance while smaller light sources create more of a
glitter effect. Rotating
the filter will produce a corresponding rotation of the star
points. The star
filter is available in 4, 6, and 8-point formats.
